!!Yukina watched the firefly flowers float into the ocean, amazed by their luminescent glow; she herself put a flower into the ocean in remembrance of her grandfather. She may not have met him in person, but the descriptions from her loathed mother and relatives served her well. He was everything her mother wasn't: hard-working, honest, and determined. She liked that.
Although she didn't say the words out loud, they were crystal clear in her head: I wish I could meet you. It was a wish she's had for quite a while, but it would never be realized. She could only imagine his soul was the moonstone floating in the sea...
Noticing that I haven't drawn something for our Firefly Festival yet, I drew a little picture to change that fact. It was fun to color a background (since I haven't done so in a while), but I did make a few mistakes here and there *cough*the flowers are too big*cough*
. This was a nice change of pace in the fact that I drew something at night
. This never happens!
Also, that's Yukina's work clothes you're seeing there; it's not too detailed of an outfit. It's just a white shirt, black pants, and a dusty red apron. Easy.
