Tea and Muffins that is! (I totally did not use a line from "Daughter of Evil" as my title)
Say, so this is the second (and better) entry to  's contest. I'm saddened that the torso for Yuki came out too long compared to her legs and the hand is just odd looking (and missing fingers). Little Muffin's pose is confusing to me and since I didn't get to observe what it looked like, I guessed. Anyone have any tips on how to fix any mistakes for lying down poses next time? Oh well, I like how it came out anyways!~I was trying to mix things up a bit this time around, I used both pastels and colored pencils for my picture. I did the background (with pastels) first, which I regret, because some of the pastelly-stuff got on the people. I got it on my hands many times as well, since pastels don't dry. I didn't put wrinkles on the couch, since I was lazy. The colored pencil coloring for the people didn't actually take that long though, only...3 hours in total? 8D I got really into coloring, so it was quick. And the clothes too 8D
My, thank you. 8D Pff, all I do is do layers of different colors for the shading. For example: The skin shading contains a mix of brown, tan, sienna (a yellow-brown color), light orange, peach, and sometimes yellow or dark red. Yeah, it's a strange blend.
The clothes are Ninjacatmuffin originals! 8D I felt in a more creative mood than usual. Usually, I draw others characters in their own outfits, but not today.
